JOB SUMMARY:
The Work Management Project Specialist position is pivotal in the development and coordination of Work Management activities.
The role involves independent and collaborative work with a focus on providing oversight for Work Management.
The successful candidate will provide system administration of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Job Control System (JCS), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and Work Order Review Approval (WORA).
Essential job duties of this position include:
- Support Work Management with Inter Contractor Work Order reviews and approvals.
- Troubleshoot problem areas, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts and Program/Project Managers for strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with IT support staff and customers.
- Prepare and maintain administrative procedures reflecting contractual obligations and emphasizing ISMS/EMS principles.
- Provide guidance to projects for efficiently supporting work management while meeting contractual obligations.
- Interface and communication (both written and verbal communication) with management and internal/external clientele on current status of Work Management operations.
- Participate in Design Review Teams, Startup Readiness Review Teams, Independent Assessment Teams, and other committees for technical input in regard to Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Develop, implement and perform analysis on metrics to capture contract deliverables, Performance Evaluation and Maintenance Plan outcomes, and departmental good business practices.
- Coordinate assignments, ensure timely completion of work, and may have training responsibilities.
- Support preparation of estimates for Inter-Contractor Work Orders.
- Retrieve data from historical bases and analyze project problems, recommending corrective action.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree - OR - an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Work Management, Planning & Scheduling or related discipline.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, along with proven leadership qualities, managerial and communications skills.
- Ability to think strategically and have a firm understanding of the business goals and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
Desired Qualifications
- Recent software application development or support experience.
- Familiarity with HLAN desktop environment, including working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Functional knowledge of software systems such as Hexagon Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Job Control System (JCS), or similar Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Experience with Hanford applications or similar financial management software programs like Crystal Reports, PeopleSoft, Asset Suite, HANDI, HISI.
Compensation & Benefits
Grade 16: $86,138 - $108,513
Grade 17: $94,650 - $119,250
Grade 18: $104,175 - $131,425
