Position Summary: This position serves as key leader in the Sunday Service and Creative teams.
His/her specific area of expertise will be in production: graphics, lighting, audio, video streaming and stage systems.
He/she will recruit and develop volunteer leaders within all areas of production and help provide leadership development within the larger team.
Qualifications: Bethel member, or willing to become one within 6 months of hire.

High level of technical training or Bachelor’s degree; 3-5 years of production or Sunday services ministry experience Staff Values (insert link) Responsibilities and Duties Leadership Provide collaborative leadership of the Creative/Sunday Service Team, including supervision of and continuing development of the Production Assistant, Technology Coordinator and additional team members over time.
Collaborate with the Communications Manager and Worship Director to ensure that leaders are being developed across all Sunday Service areas.
Continue to implement the leadership pipeline across the production ministry, creating a culture of people development and thriving volunteer teams.
Recruit, develop and train new leaders and coaches across all production areas.
Provide leadership and support for Production Team Nights.
Production Sundays: serve as the Technical Director and Service Director on the Sunday service team on a rotating basis.
Develop and implement procedures and techniques to ensure that Church services and events run smoothly.
Oversee the technical implementation and facilitation of the capture and distribution of the live sermon audio and video recordings and streaming.
Recruit, train and supervise a crew of paid on-call production technicians Work with the Creative Team to plan and implement creative elements and stage design for sermon series, special events, and church-wide emphases.
Manage and supervise production support for all Bethel sponsored events.
Oversee the maintenance and upgrades of all audio, video, lighting, stage, network, and cloud equipment in all venues and web-based platforms.
This includes planning ahead for technology replacements and upgrades.
Provide needed training for all staff and lay leaders for venue and auditorium production areas as needed and/or requested.
Provide technical support for worship as needed with instruments or instrumentation.
Provide production support and guidance to the Prosser campus as they launch and become an independent church.
General: Budget management: design and manage the Production budget to ensure maximum ministry impact within the allotted budget.
This includes planning ahead and following protocol for major capital expenditures (upgrades or replacements).
Foster and grow an environment of teamwork, unity and alignment across Bethel church staff and among all volunteer teams.
