Job Duties/Scope Of Work
JOB SUMMARY:
The Facilities Manager will manage the physical properties, processes and personnel needed to meet the Department of Energy (DOE) order and contract requirements.
This position reports to the Director of Maintenance Management Programs and will manage the following job duties:
* Oversight of personnel within program responsibilities, which includes training, mentoring, timecard approvals and employee performance appraisals.
* Performs duties as owner of applications associated with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for General Purpose Facilities, Site Moves as well as Facility Master Planning.
* Conducts lease processes and evaluation for HMIS leases and assisting with other Hanford contractors.
* Responsible for subcontract oversight for personnel and work activity.
* Routinely interface with HMIS leadership, other Hanford contractors, and DOE representatives.
* Ensures quality service while maintaining emphasis on worker and environmental safety.
* Provides oversight and direction for program staffing, planning, budgeting, and communications.
* Maintaining procedural updates, edits, and revisions as necessary.
* Leading and participating in monthly program meeting(s).
* May be expected to work outside of regular shift to support DOE or other Hanford customers.
* Act as Buyer Technical Representative.
Basic Qualifications
* BA/BS degree - OR - an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Prior experience in a leadership capacity (example: program/project management, team lead, supervisor, or manager).
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills, along with proven leadership qualities, managerial and communications skills.
* Ability to think strategically, lead a diverse team, have a firm understanding of the business goals and priorities.
* Ability to perform multiple tasks, exercise ethical judgement and adjust priorities.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Interact in a professional demeanor on a daily basis with management, other Hanford contractors, and all level of staff.
* Motivated to accept new challenges, develop program strategy and lead project-based tasks.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and other applications, space planning, lease programs.
* Perform Buyer Technical Representative duties.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience in program management, logistics, planning, and scheduling.
* Understanding of Hanford specific applications such as Sunflower, Asset Suite, ArcGIS Indoors, AutoCAD, Caretaker desired but not required for consideration.
* Working knowledge of DOE and Hanford Site Contractors.
Compensation & Benefits
Grade 20: $126,025 - $158,875
Grade 21: $138,700 - $174,900
