Job Responsibilities/Duties
The Central Operations group with Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) is seeking a Field Work Supervisor.
This individual will provide leadership and oversight of operations activities by creating and maintaining a total quality and safe climate that encourages the commitment of all personnel to meet and/or exceed customer needs.
Direct and control work in a manner that is consistent with the current boundaries of the Authorization Basis ensuring a balance of craft skills, work site supervision and documentation.
Additionally, the Supervisor will:
- Perform Field Work Supervisor (FWS)/Person In Charge (PIC) duties to support Central Operations in Balance of Plant Operations activities.
- Drive compliance activities to resolution.
- Set expectations during pre-job briefings to ensure all WRPS procedures and policies are being followed.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain communication with management.
- Coordinate the planning and preparation of daily field activities.
- Maintain FWS certification.
- Manage Condition Reports as assigned.
- Assist in the training of Nuclear Chemical Operators (NCOs).
- Verify ISMS principles are being implemented.
Required Qualifications
Grade 18:
BA/BS degree in Business, Construction Management or related discipline and a minimum of 8 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Grade 19:
BA/BS degree in a related discipline and 9 years' related experience, to include a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
**Essential duties for this grade level are similar to that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility and size of department managed may be larger and the expected level of performance is increased.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with Bargaining Unit employees and with Collective Bargain Agreements.
- Experience with development of work control documents.
- ICAS experience.
- Tank Farm field experience.
- Obtain Tank Farms FWS/PIC qualification within 6 months of start date.

Compensation & Benefits
Grade 18:
Hiring Range Minimum: $104,175
Hiring Range Maximum: $131,425
Grade 19:
Hiring Range Minimum: $114,475
Hiring Range Maximum: $144,325
